This 9-12 day adventure takes you beyond the standard Golden Triangle circuit into the remote Changthang plateau, including the world's highest motorable road at Umling La (19,300 ft) and the ancient village of Hanle. Riding premium Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 motorcycles, you'll traverse high mountain passes, visit ancient Buddhist monasteries, camp beside pristine high-altitude lakes, and experience the unique culture of Ladakh's remote regions. With full backup support including a mechanic, support vehicle, luggage transfer, and oxygen cylinders, this tour combines adventure with safety. Our locally-based team ensures authentic experiences while maintaining the highest safety standards in these challenging terrains.

Itinerary
Arrival: Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh. Our team will receive and transfer you to your premium accommodation.
Check-in & Briefing: Complete check-in formalities, rest, and attend a comprehensive tour briefing covering routes, safety protocols, and motorcycle familiarization.
Acclimatization: Critical rest day. We strongly advise against any strenuous activity. Short walks nearby are acceptable.
Evening: Visit Shanti Stupa for panoramic sunset views of Leh town.
Overnight: Premium hotel in Leh. (Welcome Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast, collect your motorcycle and begin your Ladakh adventure. Ride north towards Khardung La, one of the world's highest motorable passes.
Ride Distance: ~120 km (4-5 hours)
Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft): Stop at the summit for photographs with the iconic signboard. Enjoy spectacular views of the Karakoram Range.
Afternoon: Descend into Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery, home to the 32-meter Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
Evening at Hunder: Explore the cold desert sand dunes. Optional camel ride on the rare Bactrian double-humped camels.

Morning: Ride further north along the Shyok River towards Turtuk, the northernmost village of India, opened to tourists only in 2010.

Turtuk Village: Explore this fascinating Balti-culture village with its unique history (part of Pakistan until 1971). Visit the 16th-century mosque, old fort, and interact with the warm local community.
Afternoon: Walk through apricot orchards and narrow lanes. Witness stunning views of the Karakoram range, including K2 on clear days.

Morning: Begin the scenic ride towards Pangong Lake, taking the adventurous Shyok River route.
Ride Distance: ~180 km (6-7 hours)
Shyok River Valley: Ride alongside the meandering Shyok River, passing remote Ladakhi and Balti villages. The landscape transforms from green valleys to stark mountains.
Arrival at Pangong: First glimpse of the breathtaking blue waters of Pangong Tso. The lake changes colors throughout the day - from deep blue to turquoise.
Evening: Walk along the lakeshore, photograph the spectacular sunset, and marvel at the clear starry sky.

Morning: Witness a magical sunrise over Pangong Lake before departing for Hanle, one of Ladakh's most remote and beautiful regions.

Chushul & Rezang La: Ride through the historic Chushul Valley, site of the 1962 Indo-China war. Pass Rezang La War Memorial.
Changthang Plateau: Enter the vast Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the Tibetan wild ass (Kiang), black-necked cranes, and Himalayan marmots.
Hanle: Arrive at this ancient village, home to the 17th-century Hanle Monastery and the Indian Astronomical Observatory - one of the world's highest.

Ride Distance: ~100 km round trip (4-5 hours)
Umling La Pass: Ride to the top and stand at the highest point accessible by road on Earth. The sense of achievement and views of the Changthang plateau are unmatched.
Afternoon: Visit Hanle Monastery (Gompa), one of the largest and most important monasteries in Ladakh, belonging to the Drukpa Kagyu lineage.
Evening at Observatory: Optional night visit to the Indian Astronomical Observatory for stargazing (advance permission required). Hanle is India's first Dark Sky Reserve.
Overnight: Homestay in Hanle. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Morning: Depart Hanle and ride through the heart of the Changthang plateau towards Tso Moriri, another stunning high-altitude lake.
Ride Distance: ~160 km (5-6 hours)
Changthang Wildlife: Keep your cameras ready for wildlife sightings - Kiang (Tibetan wild ass), Tibetan gazelle, red foxes, and various migratory birds.
Tso Moriri (14,836 ft): Arrive at this pristine high-altitude lake, less crowded than Pangong but equally beautiful. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and is a designated Ramsar Wetland site.
Evening: Visit Korzok Monastery on the western bank. Enjoy the tranquility and stunning reflections on the lake.

Morning: Enjoy a peaceful sunrise at Tso Moriri before starting the return journey to Leh.

Chumathang Hot Springs: Stop at the natural sulfur hot springs at Chumathang. Take a relaxing break in the therapeutic waters.
Indus Valley: Follow the Indus River valley, passing through Mahe and Upshi. The landscape gradually changes as you approach Leh.
Thiksey Monastery: Optional visit to this beautiful monastery, often called 'Mini Potala' for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa.

Note: Security deposit is fully refundable upon safe return of the motorcycle without damage.

Motorcycle & Security Deposit:

Safety & Liability:
